We are pleased to report that the "Gunma Tech Planter 2025" kick-off event organized by the Gunma Consortium for the Creation and Development of Next-Generation Industries was held on April 24, 2025 (Thursday) at NETSUGEN, a public-private co-creation space on the 32nd floor of the Gunma Prefectural Government Office, with 31 participants. We are pleased to report that the event was a great success with a total of 31 people in attendance.
In explaining the purpose of Gunma Tech Planter 2025, Mr. Kaiura of RIVANES Corporation, the secretariat of the Gunma Consortium for the Creation and Development of Next-Generation Industries, spoke about the past achievements of this project, which is now in its fifth year, as well as about his desire to "build an eco-system where the Gunma Tech Planter aims to solve social problems, which in turn will create new industries. He also expressed his wish for the participation of the consortium's executive board members and this year's partner companies.
The 10 teams that were considering entering the competition gave 2-minute pitches, in which they shared their thoughts on the issues and solutions to them, followed by an information exchange session to brush up on their ideas and explore possibilities for collaboration among the teams.
In preparation for this year's entry, which is coming up on Friday, May 23, each potential entry and the consortium's communicators will discuss and further refine their plans.
