We are pleased to announce an entrepreneurial meetup between participants of the Okayama Innovation Project and Okayama Tech Planter.
In June 2018, RIVANES and Chugoku Bank signed a "Collaboration Agreement on Future Co-Creation through Discovery and Fostering of Next-Generation Socially-oriented Science and Technology Ventures" to promote the discovery and fostering of technology ventures and entrepreneurs who aim to implement science and technology seeds in society, mainly in Okayama Prefecture.
Since 2013, Liberace has been working on the "TECH PLANTERThe program was launched as a seed acceleration program. Today, the program has grown into Asia's largest deep tech venture ecosystem, supporting more than 6,000 technology startups in Japan and abroad. Since 2018, we have been supporting more than 6,000 technology ventures in Japan and abroad.Okayama Tech Planter" and by FY2024, 145 teams had entered the program, of which 10 were newly incorporated.
In addition, since 1996, the Bank of Chugoku has not only set up a support system for venture companies in terms of both financing and investment, but has also started to provide investment support through a venture fund. In addition, since 2017, the Bank has also been providing "Okayama Innovation ProjectThrough the "Entrepreneurship" program, we have provided support for the creation of new entrepreneurs and new businesses from Okayama Prefecture.
And now, we will hold a joint meetup where participants and speakers from both programs and partner companies will gather. We aim to form a community where entrepreneurs who are trying to change the world from Okayama with their technology and passion and their supporters (partners) can grow together while exploring possibilities for collaboration through exchanges.
