Tohoku Tech Planter 2025 Kickoff Event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2012!

(Representative Director, Group CEO: Yukihiro Maru; Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) has been promoting "Regional Tech Planter," a program to discover and foster research and development ventures, since 2016, with the aim of creating new industries in the region. Together with local governments, regional banks, universities, and businesses in each region, we are building an ecosystem to create the next mega-venture over the next 10 years by linking the research results of universities and research institutions and the technological seeds possessed by small and medium-sized businesses to social implementation.

LIVERNESS Corporation has designated six prefectures in the Tohoku area (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima) as priority regions, and is developing the Tohoku Tech Planter from 2023, aiming to change the world from Tohoku through science and technology with passion, together with researchers and venture companies. The Tohoku Tech Planter Kick-Off Event will be a great opportunity to gather this year's candidate teams and explore the possibilities of collaboration among the teams and brush up on their ideas through short pitches.

<Outline of Kickoff Event

This is an opportunity for researchers who are interested in social implementation of their research results and applying their research to society to gather together and present their visions and challenges to each other to see what kind of collaboration is possible.
