11/15】The 3rd Kansai Tech Plan Grand Prix will be held.

LIVERNESS Corporation has designated two or three prefectures in the Kansai area (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara and Wakayama) as priority regions and will hold the 3rd Kansai Tech Plan Grand Prix with the aim of discovering and fostering teams that will change the world from Kansai with their science, technology and passion.
This year, 33 teams from various fields such as manufacturing, biotechnology, agri-tech, eco-tech, marine-tech, food-tech, and life-tech entered the competition, and after a strict screening process, 12 teams were selected to make oral presentations at the Kumamoto Tech Plan Grand Prix. The keynote speaker will be Yukihiro Ishida, finalist in the 2nd Kansai Tech Plan Grand Prix and CEO of Second Heart Co.

Theme:The challenge to achieve zero leg amputations due to diabetes began with knowing the challenges.
<Profile of Yukihiro Ishida
Born in September 1981, he has been working as a clinical engineer in the medical field such as dialysis since 2004. 2021, he became a director of Kibata Keiki Seisakusho Co. 2023, he established Second Heart Inc. aiming for zero foot amputation due to diabetes and became CEO and Representative Director. He is promoting social implementation of preventive foot care centered on his main service, "Steplife," a podiatry treatment support platform. In 2024, he will be awarded the Malaysia Tech Entrepreneur Programme by the Malaysian government, and is also focusing on global expansion.
