- TOHOKU TECH PLANTER is a platform to link the research results and technological capabilities of the Tohoku area, with its rich natural environment, to industry. The third edition of the Tohoku Tech Planter Grand Prix 2025 will be held with the aim of creating teams that are passionate about changing the world through science and technology from the Tohoku area, and creating venture companies that will serve as role models through collaboration with leading companies in and outside of the prefecture.

The 3rd Tohoku Tech Plan Grand Prix
Contestants will give a 7-minute presentation to a panel of judges followed by a 7-minute Q&A session. The Grand Prix will be held semi-closed and will be attended by contestants and partner companies as well as local businesses and universities. After the judging, an awards ceremony will be held.

- D., Pharmacist, founded LIVERNESS in 2002 with only undergraduate and graduate students of science and engineering while in graduate school. After completing the doctoral process, he worked as an assistant professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Science, Kitasato University, an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, and a specially appointed associate professor at Keio University before assuming and concurrently serving as a professor of advanced pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kumamoto University and a visiting professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Keio University in 2018. He is a researcher and manager involved in launching joint research projects with universities and research institutions and supporting the establishment of research institutes while conducting research and development.
