Okayama Tech Planter 2025 Call for Entries, Kick-off Event on Oct. 31 (Fri.)

The Okayama Tech Planter is a program that promotes the creation of a new ecosystem in which research results from universities and research institutions are independently and continuously implemented in society and local industries are nurtured through the creation of new businesses based on locally developed technologies and the fostering and support of venture businesses.
Hosted by the Chugoku Bank and RIVANES, this year will be the 8th time the event has been held. We are sincerely looking forward to receiving entries from researchers who wish to apply their research results to society and venture companies who wish to launch businesses based on new technological ideas. We hope that you will join our partner companies and give shape to your enthusiasm and passion for technology with the support of our communicators.
We are currently accepting entries for the 2025 season.
In addition, a kick-off event will be held in Okayama City on Friday, October 31.
Teams that have already entered or will enter the competition will present their "Tech Plan" and business ideas, brush up on their plans and ideas, and explore possibilities for collaboration among teams. The event will also provide an opportunity to interact with partner companies and past ALUMNI teams. Those who wish to give shape to their research results and business ideas, and those who are interested in the social implementation of their research results are encouraged to participate.

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, the 8th Okayama Tech Plan Grand Prix will be held, where nine finalist teams selected from among the entries will make presentations to partner companies.
