Report】3th Tohoku Tech Plan Grand Prix: Grand Prize Won by IRAT Co.

The 3rd Tohoku Tech Plan Grand Prix was held at Forest Sendai on Saturday, November 08, 2025. 12 finalist teams made presentations, and the Grand Prize and Company Prize winning teams were selected.

LIVERNESS Corporation has designated six prefectures in the Tohoku region (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima) as priority regions, and has been promoting the Tohoku Tech Planter activities since 2023 with the aim of discovering and fostering teams that will change the world from Tohoku with their science and technology and passion. The 3rd Tohoku Tech Planter Grand Prix was held this year to mark this milestone. The 12 finalist teams selected from among the entries gave presentations on the issues they are working to solve, their core technologies, business plans, and other topics, and discussed their subsequent development.

The Grand Prize was awarded to "IRAT Corporation (Theme: Expanding the Possibilities of Radiotherapy with AI Medical Devices). With the mission of "saving all cancer patients through radiotherapy," the company will expand the possibilities of radiotherapy using AI medical devices with the aim of spreading the use of cutting-edge radiotherapy, which is highly effective without using a scalpel to the body. We will also improve treatment outcomes by shifting areas that have been heavily burdened with manual work by physicians to the system.
