The 5th Gifu Tech Plan Grand Prix was held, and the Grand Prize was awarded to "Pro Creative Co.

REVANES Corporation operates the "Gifu Tech Planter" with the aim of building an ecosystem in which industries are created sustainably by discovering and fostering researchers and technology venture companies in research institutes mainly in Gifu Prefecture.

As part of the program, the event was held on Saturday, November 22,The 5th Gifu Tech Plan Grand PrixThe nine teams selected as finalists gave enthusiastic presentations. We are pleased to announce that 10 corporate awards and the Grand Prize have been selected.

The winner of the prestigious Grand Prize was "Pro Creative Corporation" (theme name: The latest automatic fire extinguishing equipment to protect our lives). Fires caused by lithium-ion battery explosions have been on the increase in recent years. We aim to develop a device that automatically extinguishes fires and safely collects combustible materials such as lithium-ion batteries. Their presentation was selected for the Grand Prize in recognition of the passion with which they confronted this challenge and the determination with which they carried out their business.

The day also featured a keynote speech by a senior entrepreneur, Takuya Goto, co-founder and deputy CTO of Helical Fusion Corporation, on the company's activities to bring fusion energy to the world in the 2030s, under the title "Fusion Energy Achieved through Japan's Monozukuri (Manufacturing) Power. The presentation was titled "Fusion Energy Achieved through Japan's Monozukuri Capability". He mentioned the story of how several of Gifu Tech Planter's partner companies invested in the Series A funding, and how the field of research, once considered basic research far from application, is now approaching the realm of manufacturing. He also talked about how this technology is changing the world and the future from Gifu.
