Announcement of Finalists & Lightning Talk Teams for TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in Malaysia 2025

TECH PLANTER, organized by Leave a Nest, is a leading deep-tech acceleration platform dedicated to supporting visionary researchers and startups working on innovations with meaningful societal impact.
Since its launch, the program has expanded globally, with Malaysia being one of its active hubs since 2015. This year marks a milestone, with a record-breaking 80 applications received—our highest yet—from a wide range of fields, institutions, and backgrounds!
After a thorough screening and interview process, nine outstanding teams have been selected as finalists to pitch their groundbreaking ideas at the TECH PLAN Demo Day Malaysia 2025, taking place at Center of Garage, Cyberjaya, on May 31, 2025.
In addition, six Lightning Talk teams will also take the stage to share their unique approaches and innovations, adding even more depth and diversity to this exciting event!
The 9 Finalist Teams will be grouped into three themed presentation rounds, each highlighting a specific focus area: Eco Tech, Deep Tech, and Agri-Tech.
🌱Eco Tech Round
These teams are driving innovations for a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future:

| QuantumGel Group | PolluSorb Litter. Soil contamination from heavy metals and pollutants threatens agriculture, ecosystems, and health. Our CQD hydrogel, developed via on-the-spot inverse precipitation, offers a sustainable and efficient solution for soil restoration. |
