TECH PLANTER
in the Philippines

Through its 13 years of implementation, the TECH PLANTER program has housed promising deep technology startups founded by passionate researchers, entrepreneurs and individuals aiming to solve deep issues. With the goal of continuously finding local homegrown deep technology builders, the TECH PLANTER has been implemented in the Philippines since 2017.

However, due to the country's archipelagic nature, support for deep technology in the farther reaches of the Philippines is unfortunately significantly less than what is provided in the metropolitan areas. Because of this, like in Japan, it is important to create decentralized models of support. For this to happen, local players need to be more involved. Due to these realizations, Leave a Nest has initiated the 1st regional implementation of TECH PLANTER outside of Japan in 2025 which was the 1st Visayas TECH PLANTER held in Iloilo City.

Now in it's 3rd year of implementation, we are back to Iloilo again looking forward to the passionate teams and their technologies that can create impact both in the Visayas group of islands, and nationwide in the Philippines.
