Japan faces the challenges of severe natural disasters and the limitations of centralized power supply. The "Social Implementation of Gradient-shaped Wind Turbines" project aims to solve this problem by developing a new wind power generation technology that can be installed on the roofs of buildings, using blades designed from scratch by mobilizing the knowledge of fluid dynamics engineering. Furthermore, we are aiming for social implementation in areas with inadequate electric power infrastructure and distributed power sources.

This new technological proposal for the realization of an independent and decentralized energy society was selected for the Grand Prize because of its social impact and great promise for the future.
