TECH PLANTERindicates word or phrase being defined
Launched in 2014, the concept is to "solve unsolved "deep issues" with "deep tech," a collection of science and technology" by 2020. It is one of the largest deep tech venture ecosystems in Asia, and is being implemented in 12 regions in Japan, 7 areas (deep, eco, marine, agriculture, food, biotechnology, and life), and 6 countries in Southeast Asia (Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia). Today, with more than 7,500 entrants and partners from Japan and abroad, RIVANES is the largest deep-tech venture ecosystem in Asia.Science Bridge Communicatoris uniting diverse passions and technologies to accelerate problem solving.

Believing that the enthusiasm and technology possessed by numerous venture companies, regional core companies, and large corporations can lead to solutions to global issues, the LIVERNESS Group has been promoting activities to connect technology and ideas in Japan to Southeast Asia and Southeast Asia to Japan, utilizing the ecosystem built around the TECH PLANTER. We have been promoting activities to connect the technologies and ideas of Southeast Asia to Japan, and as a result, we have created a step forward in resolving issues that transcend national borders.
The results of the overseas expansion support that RIVERNESS has promoted
- FiberCraze, a Gifu University venture supported by RIVANES, signs an agreement with University of Malaya TIDREC, an infectious disease research institute in Malaysia.
- INOCA begins Southeast Asian expansion of marine resource conservation activities. As a first step, INOCA Asia is established in Malaysia.

And in response to these results, TECH PLANTER has started to connect the domestic ecosystem by domain and the TECH PLANTER ecosystems in six Southeast Asian countries in an integrated manner starting in FY2024. In order to build a system that can take on the challenge of solving issues in a wide area, seven teams selected from each domain will be selected in March of the following year to participate in the "TECH PLANTER World CommunicationTwo teams (from the Biotech Grand Prix) will be invited to the "Biotech Grand Prix" to give presentations to the judges invited from each country, taking into consideration the possibility of expanding the project to Southeast Asia.SPHinX CorporationFrom Agri-Tech Guanpuri, Inc.Teraform Corporation) are selected. TECH PLANTER is more than just acceleration and incubation. It is a challenge to start from the "essential problem" itself that needs to be solved, deepen the question together, and shape a new industry as a "knowledge manufacturing industry" by uniting technology and passion. For this reason, teams with deep issues for which the market has not yet been established are invited to apply for this program. Therefore, while there are many groups that have not yet incorporated, the solution to all of their problems will lead to the creation of the world's first value.
We will continue to look at global issues beyond borders and domains. We are looking forward to partner companies that will create the future together with us by combining the power of industry with deep-tech ventures that are serious about solving these issues. We will continue to accept applications from partner companies. Please contact us if you are interested.
