Ishikawa Tech Planter 2025 Kickoff Event Held

Ishikawa Prefecture, Ishikawa Industrial Creation Organization (ISICO), and RIVANES are implementing "Ishikawa Tech Planter" with the aim of discovering and fostering technology seeds (ventures) in Ishikawa Prefecture. The event was held on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

A total of 15 people attended the event, including researchers who were considering entering the program.

Target: Entry (planned) teams, researchers and students in academia, etc.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Kawabata, Director of Growth Project Promotion Department, Ishikawa Industrial Creation Support Organization (ISICO), greeted the organizers, and Mr. Hamaguchi of LIBANES (from Ishikawa Prefecture) explained the purpose of the meeting.

The keynote speech was given by Mr. Takeshi Akasaka of Kanazawa Institute of Technology, a finalist in the 1st Ishikawa Tech Plan Grand Prix and a recipient of the 2025 TeSH GAP Fund Program "Step 2. He shared his experiences and knowledge gained through the Tech Planter, his thoughts on continuing to take on the challenge of social implementation, and gave a message to the participants.

In the final information exchange session, participants discussed their ideas with each other to brush up on their ideas and explore possibilities for collaboration among the teams.
