- Scientific and technological "seeds" are being created in universities, research institutes, and corporate laboratories, but it takes a lot of effort before they sprout into practical applications. The "Tech Planter," organized by LIVERNESS and its partners, is an ecosystem that aims to serve as a planter to discover these seeds and help them sprout into business. The Agri-Tech Grand Prix is a program aimed at discovering and fostering technological seeds and entrepreneurs in the real tech field (food, agriculture, environment, water resources, biomass, etc.).

1st round: Application Screening
A panel of judges composed of LIVERNESS and its partners will review the documents.
You will be asked to submit information about your team, skills, passions, and vision for the future via web form and video.
All applicants will be notified of the screening results and provided with feedback on their applications.
In addition, individual interviews (also online) for presentation review will be conducted for those who wish to participate.

- D. in Environmental Studies from the Graduate School of Environment and Information Studies at Yokohama National University, where he has been a VBL lecturer since 2008 and a founder of LD Factory Inc. a subsidiary of RIVANES Corporation, joining RIVANES in 2014. To date, he has participated in the management of four group subsidiaries as a director, including Agronome Research Institute Inc. and KAKAXI Co. - After a career spanning about 15 years in food ingredients companies, he joined Otsuka Foods in 2019. He will be stationed in Bangalore (~2022) to promote business in India, where he will be responsible for local production, quality control, and development. After returning to Japan, he worked on product improvement and introduction of new technology as R&D staff, and was transferred to Otsuka HD from 2023 to 2025, where he was responsible for the Ethiopia business development project in collaboration with JICA, and established the Food Future Creation Lab in LiSH at Takanawa Gateway in July of the same year, becoming its director.

- Born in Ehime, Japan in 1985. After completing graduate studies at Okayama University, he worked on automotive material development, control development, and data adaptation at Honda R&D Co. He joined ITID Corporation in 2018, where he worked on BPR and new business planning support for the manufacturing industry and planning support for local governments. He joined KOBASHI in 2022 because he shares the philosophy of "Cultivating the Earth", which aims to solve social issues. He is working on the formation of an ecosystem to support manufacturing, including startups.
